Man that's some funny sh*t.
Love the valuation too. I'd have gone for a cool million if I was just making stuff up anyway. -

No offence mate, I'm kinda on your side, but until you've come to the uk and done it - it's just hollow bragging. Come here, get 4 or 5 £7k bookings at schools and we'll stop doubting you. -

Theres no chance you are getting a 7k gig at a publicly funded school in the north in England. None. Zero. Zilch. Nada.
I work with a lot of schools as I finance their fixed assets via pfi and I'll tell you right now, the governers would be sacked id they signed off a £7k budget for a party. People like me would make sure of it.
Private schools on London? Maybe, I dont know that market at all. You'd need some big attraction though, fairground type thing or a big name headline act. Certainly you are not gonna learn how to do it by watching a DVD. -

Lol! Your money's safe rob, your money's safe.
I do them for bluecoats, and getting £500 off them is like trying to prize a kebab off Kerry Katona. It's a struggle but you tire that fat b*tch out in the end.
I don't go in for all the American style MTV over the top sh*te anyway, leave that to the yanks. I just like looking at pics and robbing ideas.
That sweet 16 thing where they hand out invites like they are a wonkers golden ticket makes me want to puke. If I had kids like that at my gigs I'd torch the place and let my rig go up with them. Be worth it.

29 Mar 2011 - 08:11Chris I wanted to do this in the past but people I asked said it was a wast of time as the joystick is sooo finniky.
If you move it minutely it makes the fixture move allot.

04 Feb 2011 - 11:34Just remember the basic rules
1. set cue point at the first beat (or start of the vocal)
2. sync up the bpms
3. pick a 4,8,16 loop depending on what sounds best.
4. start playback at the righ time, i.e in sync with the main cymbols/loop structure of the playing track
And thats it, then its practice....

07 Sep 2010 - 17:03i need your opinion man,
If you were a mobile-dj doing weddings and parties, if it was regardless of price, would you chose the dynamos or the Irocks as an "standard" (every gig) light?
