    Would highly recommend this controller / soundcard for starting off, and a decent used mixer (somebody on the forum is bound to be selling one if you look in the for sale section), the RMX works with most DJ software. Apart from that read through the forum and learn about gear, music, marketing etc. It's a great resource. The for sale section is also excellent for picking up quality used gear when you have the cash.
