Paul, why do you keep having a pop at me ? All I stated was what my boss told me. No need to post snide remarks. -

The last 3 years I've charged €350 - €400 which works out at £306 - £350. Last years NYE (2010/2011) was a birthday and the client also booked me for her wedding. (and paid the same price for two & half hours disco !)
topnotch, on 12 August 2011 - 09:57 PM, said:these days of paying on the door are getting less.... and for more out of urban areas ..... it would be a struggle to charge a door tax for a load of regulars !!!!!
Like i said before ... if you can get more money, then good on you ...... but not all wil be able to get top dollar price
When I worked in a particular pub in Weymouth the boss said he wouldn't charge for Xmas Eve/NYE as it was a 'Public House' He said would you charge people to come into your own house ? Also why charge on a night when you know people will want to be out drinking ? -
