I have been DJing now for the last few years, but more as a part time hobby than a full time venture.

I do it purely for the enjoyment of doing it.

I have taken a bit of a sabatical over the last six months due to other work commitments, plus I started to find myself not enjoying it.

As of June 2010, my DJ mojo is reinvigourated and I am returning back to the disco industry, but doing less than I had been doing.

By day, I am a contract and freelance software / web developer. I tend to work more on web applications, i.e. functional websites rather than do web design. I work mainly with ASP.NET in Visual Studio combined with Dreamweaver for the design aspects. My job has taken me all over the UK in the past twenty years and also to Belgium for twelve months and have worked for companies such as GE, TeleAtlas, Bell+Howell, Kingston Communications etc...

My work nowadays tends to be more freelance though and spend more time working from home, which gives me a lot more flexibility with being able to do discos.

In the past, I have been an avid biker and owned and rebuilt various bikes including Kawasaki ZZR600, Kawasaki ZX6R, two Suzuki GSXR600s, Honda CBR600, Suzuki TL1000, three Honda Fireblades and many, many more... Unfortunately no biking nowdays as I dont have the time or storage for one.

Personally, I love the forums. I am a bit of a quiet chap - not too outspoken as I am fairly shy and self depracating and sometimes find myself a bit frightened of posting in case people think I am talking daft... Trying to get over that though
