    PAT Testing

    Not spam, good advice related to: BS 7909:2008 Code of practice for temporary electrical systems for entertainment and related purposes as contributed to by HSE, IET, PLASA, ABTT, NOEA, PSA and others, it's a British Standard way of working, even mentioned in the DCMS guide to Licensing conditions.

    PAT Testing

    There is a BS7909:2008 completion certificate that you may have to fill in (you will if it is a licence condition) see http://www.7909.org.uk/images/COMPLETION_CERTIFICATE_7909.pdf As of course all DJs are now all using the working methods outlined in BS7909:2008 to assist in complying with EAWR1998 aren't they usualy section 5: 5 Small/simple events and activities requiring up to 6kVA 5.1 General 5.2 Person responsible 5.3 Planning the small/simple temporary electrical system 5.4 Risk assessments 5.5 Supplying and checking equipment 5.6 Setting-up a small/simple temporary electrical system 5.7 Changes to the system 5.8 Leaving the system unattended 5.9 Removing the system 5.10 Problems with the installed electrical system Yes / no?
